Job Summary
Thread and install screw pipe, rig slings and shackles for lifting materials, and coordinate crane activity for transport. Guide crew on safety policies, set examples for peers, and provide hand signals to crane operators during lifts. Assist welders and fitters with grinding, buffing, and fitting measurements, while helping mechanics perform routine maintenance on cherry pickers and cranes. Report defective equipment immediately and control heavy equipment movement through confined spaces using certified lifting gear. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lifting 50-75 pounds, with 80 to 90% of activities performed outside. Must have 2+ years of offshore rigger experience, a valid TWIC card, and be authorized to work in the US.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Offshore Rigger Experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Valid TWIC card
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50-75 pounds
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Desired Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred
