The Offshore Paramedic is responsible for responding to emergency situations, administering medical treatment for emergency and non-emergency situations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key responsibilities include providing advanced life support, maintaining patient records, teaching First Aid and CPR, conducting safety orientations, performing risk assessments, and engaging in continuous monitoring for safety violations. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience in emergency medical services in industrial or offshore settings.

Required Qualifications

  • Paramedic level certification
  • PHTLS or ATLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • CPR certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste disposal laws
  • Experience in risk assessments
  • Ability to teach First Aid / CPR

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in advanced life support EMS service
  • Experience in an industrial/offshore/remote setting
  • Knowledge of OSHA and BSEE standards
  • Training certifications in safety and rescue

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment
  • May require TWICTM card
  • If offshore, HUET certification required
