Offshore Crane Operator

Operate cranes for installation and vessel lifts within the design envelope, accounting for weather, sea states, and current loads. Complete pre-use checklists before each shift, ensure good housekeeping in the cabin, and conduct safe, recorded shift handovers. Perform first-line maintenance, undertake emergency response activities, and report incidents and near misses immediately. Maintain clear communication with deck and vessel crews while strictly adhering to client safe systems of work. This permanent, ad hoc role supports EnerMech's offshore projects primarily in the North Sea, requiring a Stage 3 certificate and relevant offshore certifications.
