Job Summary
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair all facility-specific access equipment prior to shipment, proficiently resolving electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. Interpret blueprints, validate machine configurations against sales orders, and complete the EQC process while driving defects back to the point of origin. Collaborate with new product development teams to implement corrective actions and identify process improvements. Assist in training new team members on equipment functions and electronic devices, maintaining a safe work environment aligned with 6S standards. Requires considerable irregular hours including overtime and shift rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- One (1) or more years of relevant experience
- Ability to drive
- Ability to test
- Ability to conduct offline inspection on all machines in assigned facility
- Ability to travel up to 5%
- Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Ability to utilize any specialty tools as required
- Ability to effectively work across all work stations in assigned job function
- Ability to assist training new team members on processes and equipment functions
- Ability to use/train on all electronic devices including: EQC, MDS, JED, AS400
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards
- Ability to follow all safe procedures in assembling and testing of all models/products for all facility specific Access equipment
- Ability to assist on issue resolution and partner with various Access functions as required
- Ability to contribute suggestions and identify opportunities for product/process improvement or cost savings in Access products/processes
