Job Summary
Execute daily Securities Admission operations in compliance with clearing house rules, procedures, and internal policies; Review issuers’ listing documents and oversee the full lifecycle of FINI EIPO, including coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders; Recommend and implement operational process enhancements to improve efficiency, control, and service quality; Support automation and process reengineering initiatives to reduce manual processing and operational risk; Identify exceptions and contingency situations in a timely manner and escalate issues to management as appropriate; Location supports HKEX base in Hong Kong; requiresBachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience with knowledge of asset servicing, ICSDs, and proficiency in MS Office; bilingual English and Chinese is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in reputable financial institutions
- knowledge of asset servicing and nominee/custodial operations across equities, debt securities, and derivatives in Hong Kong
- exposure to Mainland China markets is an advantage
- Familiarity with International Central Securities Depositories (ICSDs) such as Euroclear and Clearstream is highly desirable
- Strong team player with the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Chinese word processing
- Knowledge of Macros and VBA is an advantage
