Job Summary
Perform routine processing tasks for the Corporate FX desk, including validating trade details, issuing confirmations, executing settlements, and preparing regulatory reportings. Ensure all trade processing adheres to internal Desktop Procedures and local/global regulatory requirements while escalating exceptions promptly. Support post-execution activities with minimal impact on stakeholder relationships and maintain accuracy in daily deliverables. Act as a maker for FX trades and drive process improvement opportunities within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Conversant with RBI regulations around trading and processing of FX trades
- Strong follow up skills, demonstrating diligence, professionalism, and timely task completion
- Eagerness to learn and develop a deep understanding of the products handled by the desk
- High adaptability with the ability to take on different roles, tasks, and challenges confidently
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines
- Prior experience in Foreign Exchange operations for 2-3 years
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory circulars
- Familiarity with CCIL functioning
- Self motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to know when to escalate issues
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Comfort with other standard business tools
- Ability to perform the role of a maker
