Job Summary

Patrol all property areas, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and conduct daily physical hazard inspections. Respond to accidents, defuse disturbances, and escort unwelcome persons while completing incident reports and shift summaries. Handle guest complaints, administer first aid as required, and gather evidence for investigations. Report unsafe conditions to management and maintain confidentiality of all security documents. Perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting objects under 50 pounds, and navigating uneven surfaces. Complete safety training and certifications while adhering to company policies and quality assurance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance
  • Must be able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Must be able to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
  • Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Must be able to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
  • Must be able to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)
  • Must be able to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
  • Must be able to move at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog)
  • Must be able to speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Must be able to prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
  • Must be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Must be able to comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
  • Must be able to complete safety training and certifications
  • Must ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Must maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Must be able to protect company assets

  • Must be able to complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents; release information only to authorized individuals
  • Must be able to conduct investigations and gather evidence
  • Must be able to conduct interviews with relevant parties
  • Must follow all company policies and procedures
  • Must be able to report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Must be able to complete safety training and certifications
