Officer, IT Security (SOC)

Job Summary
Monitor endpoints, servers, and networks for security-related issues while investigating breaches and analyzing security event and application log files. Review existing security posture, check system configurations against IT Security standards, and document incidents to assess damage. Operate software tools including firewalls, SIEM, and PAM to protect infrastructure, assist in planning security projects, and perform vulnerability testing. Stay current on IT security trends, research enhancements, and recommend improvements to management. Requires a Computer Science degree, one to two years of IT or Security Operations experience, and knowledge of cloud, SD-WAN, and Zero-trust concepts. Valid cybersecurity certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent
- Minimum one or two year working experiences in IT related fields or IT Security Operation
- Understanding knowledge of IS, IT Governance or IT Service Management
- Core concept on new trend of technology such as cloud, SD-WAN, Zero-trust, SIEM
- System or security administration knowledge on Windows and/or Linux OS
- Network administration knowledge on any network devices OS
- Good command of English
Desired Qualifications
- Prefers any system/network/security administration experience as a plus
- Valid cybersecurity certification as a plus (Security+, CySA+, CCNA, CCNP, CND or CEH)
