Job Summary
Process registrations of mortgages, discharges, and other document types across all Canadian provinces except Quebec, reviewing documents against underwriting and lender guidelines to identify risks. Monitor outstanding registrations to ensure timely completion and report status to lenders or front-end partners. Handle rejected documents per lender procedures, process search requests in provincial engines, and manage file retention or destruction. Respond to internal inquiries regarding registration status via email or phone. This 6-month contract requires full-time availability from 8:30am to 5:00pm (37.5 hours/week) and includes a total direct compensation of $38,540–$46,310 CAD.
Required Qualifications
- Law clerk/ Legal Administration designation from a community college, or equivalent work experience in real estate law
- Possess strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships
- Possess strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities within a busy office environment
- Possess strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Candidates must be available to work 8:30am-5:00pm full time hour (37.5 hours per week)
