Job Summary
Office & Tax Assistant role supporting a small community-focused accounting firm. Responsibilities include greeting clients, answering phone calls, managing emails, scanning and organizing documents, data entry for tax returns and bookkeeping tasks, preparing and assembling client tax packets for review and signature, and supporting office operations such as ordering supplies, mail handling, and scheduling appointments. Requires 1+ year of office/clerical or customer-service experience; strong attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel); professional written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and with a small team; reliable transportation and US work authorization. Hybrid option after in-office onboarding; friendly, small-town environment and flexible weekday schedule.
Required Qualifications
