Office Support Dispatch Specialist (Night Shift)

Job Summary
Coordinate non-emergency medical transport requests and provide administrative and operational support across patient care documentation, logistics, supply chain, facilities, and other areas. Responsibilities include processing transportation requests, confirming medical necessity when possible, coordinating pre-approvals, assisting with PCS completion and compliance, handling phone inquiries with strong customer service, tracking ground assets with CAD, assigning assets via the CAD system, coordinating with mutual aid agencies, ensuring paperwork compliance and feedback processes, providing logistics support and asset restocking, and performing data entry and filing to keep operations organized. Required qualifications emphasize a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; preferred qualifications include dispatcher certification and relevant medical certifications (EMT, Paramedic, RN, etc.) with EMS industry experience and CAD system proficiency. The role is scheduled as 40 hours per week and is non-exempt in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Certified Dispatcher (preferred)
- Current or previous medical certification or license (EMT, Paramedic, Clinical Associate, Medical Assistant, RN, etc.) (preferred)
- At least Two (2) years of experience as a dispatcher (preferred)
- At least Two (2) years as a medical provider (EMT, Paramedic, Clinical Associate, Medical Assistant, RN, etc.) (preferred)
- Experience in the EMS industry (preferred)
- Experience in Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems (Zoll and/or Zeurcher) (preferred)
- Experience in EMS billing, coding, and compliance (preferred)
