Job Summary
Office Supervisors are responsible for leading the Cargo Office team to ensure cargo handling procedures and shipping logistics are carried out according to company and airline standards. They oversee the shipping process by coordinating shipping details, completing compliance documentation, and providing customer service. Develop work assignments for office agents and leads; train and supervise new employees; convey shipping instructions to the customer services counter; manage import/export documents; ensure compliance with TSA, FAA, IATA DG regulations; release imported international freight after CBP clearances; handle air freight charges; manage communications with customers; enter data into the company information system; follow safety and security policies; be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; possess leadership, communication, and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- possess a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- authorization to work in the United States or Canada as applicable
- ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security (if required)
