Job Summary
Greet clients promptly, gather insurance information, and process co-pays at the time of service. Convey appointment details, answer telephones, screen calls, and manage messages. Monitor the work area to ensure safety and security while working within the electronic medical record system. Activate the crisis system as needed and maintain client confidentiality. PM shifts run Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with Friday coverage from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Based primarily at the DBH Main Street Clinic in Layton, Utah, this role supports the Clinical Support team's mission to provide excellent customer service to clients seeking mental health treatment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must complete and maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must comply with Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.
- Must be able to work within DBH's electronic medical record system.
- Must have a working knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy laws.
- Must be knowledgeable about the crisis system and know when and how to activate it.
