Job Summary
Design, implement, and continuously improve undergraduate research programs and services while developing strategic outreach to increase student participation. Coordinate major departmental events, manage web content and social media, and oversee the production of the Osprey Journal. Supervise student interns, assign work, and monitor performance against departmental goals. Prepare reports to evaluate program effectiveness and inform leadership decisions. Manage operational services including poster printing and budget tracking. Attend conferences such as the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference and participate in professional development. Work autonomously within a hybrid team culture to support student success and engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in higher education program administration, student engagement, or undergraduate research initiatives
- Experience with event planning, publications, or academic programming
- Strong communication, marketing, and digital content management experience
- Experience supervising student employees or interns
- Knowledge of higher education program development and student success initiatives
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs and services
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Proficiency in digital communication platforms, web content management, and marketing tools
