Job Summary
Perform a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision and clinical guidance of the practice physician(s). Engage in the practice of medicine in collaboration with and under the medical direction of licensed physicians, while participating in formal and informal patient and staff education. Demonstrate excellence in practice characterized by quality patient care. Maintain current State licensure as an APRN with specialization in Family or Pediatrics, along with a valid Registered Nurse license and CPR certification. Work in a normal patient care environment with frequent exposure to communicable disease.
Required Qualifications
- Current State license as an APRN with specialization in Family or Pediatrics
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license
- Meets and maintains State Licenser, Certification and/or educational requirements as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current CPR certification required
- Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing
- Advanced professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice
Desired Qualifications
- 3- 5 years of pediatric experience preferred
