Job Summary
Dental office Office Manager in Zephyrhills, FL responsible for building and maintaining an effective practice through team communication, setting goals, training staff, handling insurance claims and patient financing, payroll review, inventory control, and coordinating coverage between offices. Responsibilities include hiring/training, managing accounts receivable, explaining treatment plans and payment options, ensuring deposits and cash handling accuracy, maintaining security, coordinating payroll, ensuring OSHA/compliance training, and acting as liaison between corporate and office staff while meeting monthly performance targets.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in business, or equivalent, and three years working experience
- Working knowledge of front and back office healthcare operation
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Prior management experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of general dental terminology
- Intermediate computer skills; working knowledge of Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and dental office software; EagleSoft preferred
