Job Summary
School Office Manager at ACCEL Schools' North Bend STEM Academy oversees all office functions and serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, and the public. Responsibilities include managing communications (phone, email, in-person), implementing registration and visiting procedures, producing newsletters and notices, coordinating events (Parent Orientation, Open House, field trips), maintaining accurate student records under FERPA, supporting enrollment and retention, processing attendance and records requests, maintaining confidential files, preparing reports and correspondence, coordinating meetings and calendars, managing office supplies, and assisting with human resources processes (I-9 verification, time & attendance, offboarding). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organization, written and verbal communication skills are required; prior experience in an education setting is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum two (2) years' office management experience
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience learning and mastering new computer programs
- High quality written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)
- Experience working in an education setting preferred
