Job Summary
Supervise and lead the dental office staff, including hygienists, assistants, and support personnel, while fostering a collaborative environment. Oversee financial aspects including budgeting, billing, and reporting to optimize profitability, and manage insurance verification and claims processing. Handle human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations, while coordinating patient scheduling and maintaining accurate records. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulations, and collaborate with the dentist on strategic plans for practice growth. Maintain vendor relationships and manage equipment maintenance. Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare management preferred with proven dental office experience. Full benefits package including medical, 401k, and paid time off available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in dental office management is preferred
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and revenue cycle management in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and external partners
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other compliance standards
- Proficiency in office software and dental practice management software
- Dedication to providing excellent customer service and enhancing the patient experience
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work as part of a dental team
