Job Summary
Open and reset the NY office daily before staff arrival, maintaining a spotless, stocked environment that reflects the company's craft bar. Serve as the front-of-house face during business hours, greeting guests, guiding new hires, and planning local in-office events and offsites. Manage facilities, supplies, and vendor relationships for cleaning, food, and maintenance, acting as the primary local contact for building repairs and warranty issues. Own the workplace ticket queue, build shared SLA frameworks, and deploy the tech stack for desk booking, room scheduling, and visitor management. Rationalize vendor programs from ad-hoc to contracted models, track office budgets and cost-per-seat, and maintain SOPs and playbooks for site standards.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years in office/workplace management, facilities, or workplace operations in high-growth tech
- Exceptionally organized, documentation-first, and project-management-driven — plans, budgets, and status always visible and current
- Experience owning workplace systems (ticketing, desk/room booking, visitor management) and vendor programs
- Demonstrated AI fluency — you already use tools like Claude to increase your leverage and reach for automation instinctively
- Reliability — committed to a consistent, on-site, 5-day presence
- Location: This role is based on-site in our New York office, five days per week.
Desired Qualifications
- Hospitality / concierge mindset — you treat colleagues and guests as customers (hotel or premium-hospitality background a plus)
- Experience supporting office moves or buildouts
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or comparable tools
