Job Summary
Manage daily operations of the medical practice by supervising six or more employees, scheduling staff, and overseeing clinic activities. Handle insurance billing, claims verification, and supply ordering while ensuring patient confidentiality and a safe environment. Conduct banking activities, monitor attendance, and resolve staff conflicts with firm, fair judgment. Guide the team through emergency situations and delegate duties based on qualifications. Maintain open communication with physicians, patients, and HR regarding credentialing and benefits.

- Works with Human Resources to oversee credentialing and privileges for their clinic's licensed providers
- Effectively communicates with the staff and surgeon regarding all practice business
- Effectively guides, leads, supports and supervises all staff
- Assesses the staffing needs on a daily basis and ensures adequate staff to provide care commensurate with the needs of the practice
- Schedule daily staffing and time-off requests

- An understanding of basic practice operations (billing, surgery scheduling, clinic scheduling, medical records, referral coordination's, insurance verification, etc.)
- Leadership-verbal ability to communicate ideas and views effectively when speaking to groups, personnel, medical staff, and the providers

- The ability to listen, understand, and confer with personnel, Physicians, patients, and the general public
- Nursing - Associate of Science
- ACLS and BLS Certifications
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Health Care Administration
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields (at least 3 months required or 2-4 years in a hospital setting strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Must have prior experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of insurance is a must
- Supervise all medical and clerical staff
- Work collaboratively with business staff, clinical staff, non-physician practitioners and the physician
Desired Qualifications
- Working in pain management
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Health Care Administration is a plus, but not required
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields (at least 3 months required or 2-4 years in a hospital setting strongly preferred)
