Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day operation of the Cambridge office, including facilities management, lease administration, and budget oversight. Lead the Office Coordinator team through work allocation, coaching, and performance management. Serve as the primary contact for employees on routine HR matters, overseeing onboarding, offboarding, and record management while supporting Skilled Worker visa compliance. Maintain workplace health and safety compliance by investigating incidents, updating risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to ISO standards. Act as a keyholder for facilities incidents and coordinate with external suppliers and the HR Consultant. Support the CEO and senior leadership with operational initiatives and business improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- A degree or HND in subject matter such as business administration, health & safety or human resources management or a related field
- Experienced Office Manager within a small or medium-sized business
- Comfortable operating across office management, people administration and compliance activities
- Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Practical, organised and service-oriented
- Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly detail conscious and meticulous
- Cultivate a safe working environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Pro-active, positive and enthusiastic by nature
- Responsive to changing needs of projects and the business
- Good communication and presentation skills
