Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise clerical support staff, including temporary agency personnel, for filing, data entry, and report preparation. Manage the requisitioning, procurement, and delivery of office equipment, supplies, and telecommunication services while ensuring operational readiness. Monitor disbursement checks for Emergency Adult Assistance Grants and State Mandate Financial Plan services, prepare payroll tracking sheets, and oversee personnel transactions such as leave requests and workers' compensation claims. Conduct periodic site inspections for facility maintenance, security device installation, and equipment repairs. Review inventory controls by auditing office supplies against invoices and manage closed case records for submission. Act as a liaison for case management systems, train staff on software screens, and track system complaints. Work 9am to 5pm with one hour of flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization
- Three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
- Four years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
- Five years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
- One year of administrative or supervisory experience
- Permanent in the Principal Administrative Associate Civil Service Title
