Job Summary
Oversees the general operations of the branch, supports the Branch/Regional Manager, and ensures excellent customer service. Actively promotes and cross-sells bank products, opens and maintains customer accounts, and serves as the primary contact for resolving routine and complex customer issues. Assists with loan applications, recommends loan structures, gathers documents, and closes retail loans as needed. Leads and coaches branch staff in absence of the Branch Manager, maintains knowledge of products and policies, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and fosters customer relationships through referrals and community involvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of demonstrated sales and service skills
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 2+ years of banking experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize effectively
- Must be compliant with Loan Officer Requirements of the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and Regulation Z
- Within 30 days of employment, comply with NMLS registration and corresponding background check requirements
