Job Summary
Office Manager for a 100% on-site construction-site office in Cartersville, GA. Responsible for coordinating a wide variety of administrative duties to ensure smooth project site office operations, acting as liaison between the site office and home office administrator. Manages accounting, timesheets, HR policies, payroll coordination (craft and project staff), document control, and procurement activities. Supervises administrative staff (receptionist, document control clerk, and possibly secretaries/file clerks), and may oversee file storage, IT liaison with home office IT, and site equipment setup. Provides guidance on HR policies/regulations, participates in safety orientation, and handles routine regulatory guidance (EEO, Workers' Comp). May assist with startup operations for procurement/engineering/project controls, coordinate weekly craft payroll, and coordinate recruitment of craft personnel. Requires strong organizational and supervisory skills, familiarity with HRIS/PeopleSoft, and a willingness to work in a field-office environment with extensive coordination across home office and project teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Some supervisory experience preferred
- Union experience preferred
- Craft payroll experience preferred
- HRIS/PeopleSoft knowledge preferred
