Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs for office areas, furnishings, bathrooms, and equipment, including kitchen appliances, plumbing, light HVAC, electrical work, and copier repairs. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment while supporting office reconfigurations, special projects, and company events. Log and track all repairs, preventative maintenance, and special projects using Service Channel software to ensure accurate records. Communicate effectively with managers and team members regarding repair progress and adhere to all safety policies. Arrive promptly for scheduled shifts, remaining flexible to adjust duties as business needs evolve. Based in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex for on-site work five days per week.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 or more years of general maintenance experience in an office, retail, or facilities environment
- Ability to read and interpret MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) drawings and schematics
- Proficiency with basic computer programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to learn work order systems (Service Channel) and shipping platforms (FedEx manifesting)
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and successfully manage multiple projects
- Professional and approachable demeanor
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization in an office setting
- Flexibility to adjust to scheduled hours as business needs change
- Commitment to working scheduled hours
