Job Summary

The Office Cashier oversees cashiers and controls cash, coupons, and other payment forms, trains front-end staff, balances and secures all customer receipts, and performs front-end and clerical duties. Responsibilities include completing daily cash and sales reports, handling deposits, maintaining accurate records, processing deposits with the bank, answering calls, issuing and verifying tills, and enforcing front-end policies. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, leadership ability, basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge, and proficiency with cash handling equipment, including cash registers, safes, and credit card and money order processing. Also responsible for training new associates, ensuring customer service standards, and managing daily operations and reporting.
