Job Summary
Greet and register all incoming visitors, answer telephone calls, and communicate effectively in sensitive matters while maintaining a safe working environment. Organize and maintain efficient electronic and paper filing systems for confidential student and personnel records, creating forms and compiling data for district collections. Act as a liaison between parents and administrators, responding to student medical needs and directing situations to appropriate personnel. Support the Principal with administrative functions and collaborate on time-sensitive projects. Perform secretarial tasks, manage data management systems, and utilize time management techniques to prioritize work under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, completion of G.E.D. or equivalent
- Associate degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a related office position
- Keyboarding and organizational skills
- The ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, informational retrieval, visual presentations, and communications
- Proficiency in the use of Google Suite
- Appropriate telephone etiquette
- The ability to perform well under pressure
- The ability to perform multiple activities simultaneously
- Effective communication in oral and written form
- Time management techniques to organize and prioritize work
