Job Summary
Office Assistant duties include providing clerical and data entry support to the Nome Business Manager and VP Operations, assisting with payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable, processing payments via check or ACH for bereavement benefit for shareholders, assisting with accounting duties in BSNC subsidiaries/partnerships, handling hotel/vehicle receivables and cash receipts, taking credit card payments, back-up front desk coverage with phones and mail, and other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma or GED and entry-level experience; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; capable of multitasking in a broad range of business activities; generally in-office with occasional travel, Monday–Friday 8-5 with possible weekend work. Supervisory responsibilities are noted for this role. DOT safety line indicates not subject to federal DOT requirements.
