Job Summary
Greet visitors, answer calls, and manage sign-in/out procedures to ensure a welcoming reception. Act as the primary liaison between parents, teachers, and administrators while handling sensitive communications. Organize electronic and paper filing systems, maintain confidential student and personnel records, and compile district data collections. Respond to student medical needs when the nurse is absent and address inquiries from internal and external parties. Support administrative functions, facilitate inter-departmental communication, and collaborate on time-sensitive projects. Maintain a safe working environment, operate office equipment, and communicate unusual situations to the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, completion of G.E.D. or equivalent
- Associate degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a related office position
- Keyboarding and organizational skills
- the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, informational retrieval, visual presentations, and communications
- Proficient in the use of Google Suite
- Demonstrate appropriate telephone etiquette
- Perform well under pressure
- Perform multiple activities simultaneously
- Communicate effectively in oral and written form
- Utilize time management techniques to organize and prioritize work
- Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
- Display ethical and professional behavior in working with everyone who communicates or is associated with, the District
- Serve as a role model for students and staff in demonstrating positive attitude, appropriate attire and grooming, acceptance of responsibility, and an effective work ethic
