Job Summary
Oversee rental property operations for business office locations in Fairmont, Minnesota, by serving as the primary tenant contact, tracking accounts, coordinating repairs, and maintaining organized records of leases and vendor communications. Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, following up on outstanding balances, and preparing periodic updates on property and office operations. Provide administrative support for Krahmer Farms and Krahmer Law Firm, PLC, handling calendaring, scheduling, deadline tracking, meeting preparation, and general workflow coordination. Maintain confidential financial and administrative records while interacting professionally with tenants, vendors, contractors, and outside professionals. Full-time on-site role with flexible start times, Monday through Thursday hours, and Friday morning availability.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in office administration, bookkeeping support, property management, accounting support, or a related administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple open items, deadlines, and follow-up tasks.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including basic knowledge of Quick Books software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, contractors, business owners, and professional advisors.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Teams), email, spreadsheets, document management, and basic accounting or property management systems, ScanSnap scanning tools, and other office technology.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with rental property management, commercial office rental properties, or tenant relations.
- Experience using bookkeeping, accounting, or property management software.
- Familiarity with lease administration, vendor coordination, maintenance tracking, or business office operations.
- Background supporting a family business, farm operation, professional office, law firm, or closely held business.
