Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of a home care agency, lead a team of caregivers and administrative staff, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, manage scheduling and client service delivery, supervise recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, maintain caregiver coverage and handle call-outs/emergencies, drive client satisfaction through intake, care planning, and issue resolution, and maintain meticulous records and audits for quality assurance and licensing inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 1 year of management experience in home care, healthcare, or a related service industry
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of home care regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in scheduling systems, EMRs, and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with Wellsky preferred)
- Proven ability to multitask, delegate, and manage crises
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
