Job Summary

This position is for an Office Administrator at a dynamic start-up R&D facility, responsible for payroll, human resources, accounting, and office administration. The successful candidate will manage comprehensive administrative tasks, financial reporting, and support the R&D team in documenting qualifying expenditures for tax credit claims.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related area or Associate’s Degree with 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting; CPA is preferred

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting
  • Past working experience with an international company is a plus (Japan)
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP or similar accounting system
  • Experience with inventory reconciliations, roll forwards, and financial accounting impact of sales and inventory transactions
  • Experience with invoicing and accounts payable/receivable management
  • Understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations
  • Experience with payroll and time and attendance software; ADP preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
