Job Summary
This role supports back-office operations for St. Michaels Market as an Office Administrative Assistant by entering new products into the POS, maintaining product information (descriptions, pricing, vendor details), and assisting with loading weekly advertisements, promotions, and special pricing into the POS system. Responsibilities include verifying pricing and promotional data before publication, coordinating with department managers for upcoming sales, generating reports, and performing general administrative and clerical duties while maintaining organized digital and physical records. Candidates should be detail-oriented, comfortable learning new computer systems, with strong data-entry and Microsoft Office skills; prior POS system experience or grocery/retail exposure is preferred.
