Job Summary
Off-Track Railroad Vegetation Applicators mix and load spray trucks with water and approved chemicals, apply herbicides to off-track railroad rights-of-way using hose-reel spray systems, perform minor vegetation management (weed eating and 16" chainsaw), manage and reel spray hose across uneven terrain, spray assigned off-track areas while meeting daily production goals, safely drive and operate spray trucks between job sites, participate in daily briefings, complete end-of-day paperwork, and adhere to railroad safety and environmental regulations. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with at least 5 years of clean driving history, and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and federal background check; ability to travel 4–6 weeks at a time with provided accommodations. Required Qualifications
