Job Summary
Lead and grow Off-the-Road tire sales by building strong relationships with fleet, agricultural, and industrial customers through regular face-to-face field sales. Conduct fleet maintenance surveys and on-site evaluations to identify customer needs, while prospecting new business via cold calling and in-person visits to expand territory growth. Develop expert-level product knowledge to provide accurate recommendations and write up tires for retread and waste using handheld systems. Meet or exceed established sales goals, respond promptly to customer concerns, and uphold safety standards by modeling safe work practices. Collaborate with service teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and service commitments. Requires valid driver's license, extensive travel ability, and willingness to obtain TIA/Bandag certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Sales or related field
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (locally and long-distance, including overnight stays)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing a territory effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of tire sales and/or tire service experience
- Off-the-Road or commercial experience
- TIA/Bandag certification
- Willingness to obtain TIA/Bandag certification
- Experience with MaddenCo
- Bachelor's degree in Sales or related field (preferred)
