Job Summary
Review tenant applications for eligibility, maintain waiting lists, and show available units. Walk the property twice daily to monitor appearance and ensure new move-in files are complete. Distribute rent bills, collect deposits, and complete lease forms while instructing tenants on emergency procedures and property rules. Investigate complaints, resolve issues, prepare warning notices, and appear in eviction proceedings as needed. Coordinate community events, social programs, and service collaborations to support tenant life skills and academic needs. Perform annual unit inspections, assess damages, arrange turnovers, and submit required weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Cooperate with compliance staff for audits and inspections. Work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. USDA Rural Development Manager Certification required within six months.
