Job Summary
Provide off-road instruction and guidance to guests, coaching off-road driving skills and adapting teaching style to suit different skill levels. Lead groups across various terrains and weather conditions, explain complex vehicle systems in simple terms, monitor trail conditions, perform trail repairs and maintenance, report maintenance needs, and maintain trail equipment. Requires instructor training/certification, valid driver’s license and willingness to work weekends/evenings as a 1099 contractor in Maryville, TN. Emphasizes strong guest-service focus, professional presentation, and ability to work independently while ensuring a safe, enjoyable outdoor experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must successfully complete and pass company-provided instructor training and certification
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles off-road is required
- Off-road driving experience is a plus
- Strong focus on guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds as needed
