Job Summary
Operate haul trucks to move shot rock from mine faces to the crusher and perform daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation. Service and maintain equipment as trained and directed by management while following all company policies, OSHA, MSH, and environmental regulations for safe working procedures. Work outside in all weather conditions, tolerate loud noises, and perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed. Demonstrate competency in operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks, with a willingness to be cross-trained on other heavy equipment and work overtime or extended hours as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to walk, sit, climb, bend, and stoop, for extended periods of time throughout the workday, as required to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed
- Must be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Candidate with heavy equipment operating experience or mining experience are preferred
- Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred
- Willingness to be cross trained on other heavy equipment
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
- Dedication to safe work practices
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises
