Job Summary
Operate haul trucks to remove overburden and stripping material for quarry production, moving shot rock from the pit to the crusher as needed. Perform daily pre-op and post-op inspections with appropriate documentation and service equipment per management direction. Maintain competency in operating articulated and/or rigid frame haul trucks while strictly adhering to OSHA, MSHA, and environmental regulations. Assist with ground and plant clean-up duties and communicate effectively within the team. Work full-time day shifts in Staunton, VA, with weekend availability and overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- Dedication to safe work practices
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
- Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred
