Job Summary
Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport shot rock from the pit to the crusher or stockpile, performing daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation. Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as fueling, cleaning, or checking fluid levels as trained and directed by management. Communicate effectively with other equipment operators and personnel via radio systems while operating equipment on varying terrain and in diverse weather conditions. Properly follow all company policies and OSHA, MSHA, and Environmental regulations for safe working procedures. Perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed. Work outside in all types of weather, tolerate loud noises, and work overtime or extended hours as required.
Required Qualifications
- Dedication to safe work practices
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet
- Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed
- Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates with mining experience will be preferred
- Previous experience operating both articulating haul trucks and/or rigid frame haul trucks is preferred
