Job Summary
Off-Premise Spirits Sales Representative responsible for developing and maintaining effective account relationships and promoting Blueprint Brands’ portfolio in Long Island (Nassau County). Duties include representing world-class beverage brands in a dynamic market, growing brand presence within existing accounts, properly merchandising accounts with permanent and paper POS, handling AR collections according to state law, developing new accounts and expanding distribution, addressing customer inquiries (credit, delivery, product information), executing monthly/quarterly priorities, building relationships with account personnel and supplier teams, supporting Marketing with brand development programs and promotional materials, collaborating with the beer team on leads and beverage programs, and facilitating supplemental tasting appointments. Candidates should possess a passion for spirits, strong customer service, the ability to build relationships, and flexibility for travel and schedule variations. Licensing (solicitors) and English proficiency are required; Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- 21 years of age or older to comply with federal and state regulations
- Background in spirits sales with an emphasis on mixology
- Some industry experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to obtain solicitors license and maintain
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills for this position is a plus, however not required
