Job Summary
Monitor truck loads to ensure on-time deliveries throughout the night, track hot loads, and manage external customer and internal group communications via email or phone. Handle service calls from drivers, resolve incidents and claims, and consult on safety, well-being, and cost management issues. Generate TMW updates, issue night delivery EFS payments, and update carrier setups in TMW and other systems. Maintain accurate records, prioritize operational deadlines, and ensure all activities align with established safety programs. Work 40-hour shifts on the 2nd and 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays, in a climate-controlled office environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the transportation industry as a dispatcher
- Experience with systems such as TMW, TMT, or other transportation management systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to work night shift, weekends & holidays
