Job Summary

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required within 6 months of hire)
- Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy Certification (required in Ohio within 6 months of hire)
- Certified completion of an approved police training academy and be a sworn law enforcement officer with police powers in the corresponding facility county (required in Richmond)
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience (preferred)
- Associate's degree (preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Must complete BLS Basic Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
- Must complete non-violent crisis intervention training within 6 months of hire
- Must successfully pass bi-annual firearms qualifications
