Job Summary
The Off Duty Officer protects clients and assets through executive protection, surveillance support, and on-site security services, with responsibilities including threat assessment, incident response, and coordination of protective operations. The role requires active/retired law enforcement, POST certification, firearms qualifications (CCW/exposed permits), state guard certification, and the ability to travel up to 50% with flexible shifts; team-oriented, customer-service driven professionals are preferred. The position supports multiple divisions and offers comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Three plus years of law enforcement experience
- Active/retired law enforcement
- POST certification
- Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits
- Proof of annual firearms requalification OR annual firearms training course
- Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client-requested certification
- Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Domestic and/or International Travel up to 50% of time may be required
- Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed
