Job Summary
The Off Duty Officer (ODO) role focuses on providing a safe and secure environment through specialized client management, including advanced planning, threat assessment, and problem-solving. Responsibilities include flexible work in stressful situations, exceptional customer service, observing unusual activity, investigation and surveillance support, executive protection, and other related duties. Candidates are required to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, law enforcement expertise, various certifications, including POST certification, and the ability to work flexible shifts. Travel up to 50% may be necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Three plus years of law enforcement experience
- Active/retired law enforcement
- POST certification
- Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits
- Proof of annual firearms re-qualification OR annual firearms training course
- Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law
- Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm
- Flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week
