Job Summary
Experienced Off Duty Police Officer or Retired Law Enforcement sought for on-call to full-time/part-time armed and/or unarmed security roles in the Central Valley, CA. Primary duties include crime and violence prevention, customer service, physical and personal security, and safety measures for clients. Responsibilities include patrolling premises on foot, writing daily activity reports, performing access control, responding to alarms and emergencies, crowd/patron management, investigating disturbances, and enforcing applicable laws and policies. Qualified applicants may qualify for armed assignments with valid BSIS permits. Minimum requirements include valid government ID, Social Security Card, police credentials, multiple BSIS permits, 40 hours BSIS training with annual refresher, and a GED/HS diploma (associates or some college preferred). Excellent English communication, professional appearance, reliable transportation, punctuality, and required attire are essential. On-call availability; pay ranges from $45-$50/hour with benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Police Credentials (unexpired HR218)
- authorization to carry a concealed firearm with a California Guard Card (BSIS permit)
- Firearms Permit (BSIS permit)
- BSIS training (40 hours) plus most recent annual refresher
- GED or High School Diploma / Transcript (Associates Degree or some verifiable college preferred)
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Excellent ENGLISH verbal and written skills
- Access to reliable transportation
- Cell phone with text/internet and email access
- Availability for on-call work
