Job Summary
Handle Nevada civil litigation and probate matters referred by the firm, evaluating potential cases for strategy, scope, and value. Manage assigned cases from initial assessment through resolution by drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents. Conduct depositions, represent clients at hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials, and provide local court coverage for routine and substantive proceedings. Advise clients on Nevada procedures, deadlines, risks, and outcomes while maintaining regular communication regarding matter status and costs. Coordinate with firm attorneys and staff, enter time accurately, and monitor client retainers and account status.
Required Qualifications
- Active Nevada Bar admission in good standing
- Civil litigation and/or probate experience
- Knowledge of Nevada state court procedures
- Experience managing cases and deadlines independently
- Courtroom, deposition, hearing, or mediation experience
- Ability to attend in-person Nevada court proceedings when needed
- Responsive and dependable professional
- Collaborative approach within an Of Counsel structure
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented

- Strong legal drafting, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Sound judgment and case assessment (including unfamiliar matters) skills
- Client service and communication skills
