OEM Technical Leader

Oversee the technical specifications, execution, and delivery of OEM projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, timelines, test plans, and budgets. Provide technical direction and support to the project, develop high-quality solutions, and create technical documentation (following project management processes) for checkpoints. Support architecture owner for platform requirements, coordinate with manufacturing, quality assurance, technical and architectural teams, and maintain alignment with internal/external stakeholders including OEM partners. Identify and mitigate project risks, report on new technologies for features from OEM vendor groups, participate in NPD/quality/cost initiatives, and collaborate with R&D teams across locations. Conduct audits for material compliance, support test requirements at various sites, advise suppliers with engineering know-how, and coordinate with Office of Project Management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Travel to vendor, customer, and manufacturing locations within China and internationally. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3+ years in R&D, strong communication skills, and extensive experience in OEM project management; readiness to work in a multicultural, cross-functional environment and to engage with manufacturing floors and test labs.
