The OEM Engine Component Design Engineer is responsible for the development and analysis of mechanical components for engine-related OEM applications, requiring a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in engineering software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience in automotive or a related industry.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX)
- Experience with 2D drawing tools (e.g., Fujitsu MX, Creo Elements, AutoCAD)
- Strong understanding of automotive materials, mechanisms, and design principles
- Familiarity with quality processes such as FMEA, APQP, and PPAP
- Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret technical data and customer specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
