Job Summary
Lead daily production activities on the OEM manufacturing floor by supervising batches, coordinating workflows, and removing obstacles to ensure goals, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met. Coach and develop production technicians through assignments, training, and performance guidance while partnering with HR on attendance and disciplinary matters. Drive quality by monitoring workmanship, conducting inspections, and identifying concerns early to promote continuous improvement. Solve production issues quickly, recommend process enhancements, monitor productivity metrics, and manage consumable inventory to maintain a safe, organized workplace.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of industrial control panel assembly
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple production demands
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Six Sigma experience
- ERP or production scheduling software experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
